Sögufélag - Historical Society of Iceland

Sögufélag, the Historical society of Iceland, is a publishing house founded in Reykjavík in 1902. It specialises in publishing academic historical research of the highest standard and primary sources on Icelandic history. Sögufélag is also the publisher of Saga, the principal scientific historical journal for Icelandic history. Saga is a peer-reviewed journal published twice annually. The journal's language is Icelandic, but articles include abstracts in English.
